Diary of a future president
Season 2

In the Disney+ series "Diary of a Future President," we see the origin story of a future leader. Told through the narration of 12-year-old Cuban American girl Elena's diary, this new family comedy follows her journey through the ups and downs of middle school, which set her on the path to becoming the president of the United States.

In promotion of Season 2 premiering in August 2021, Disney partnered with creators from the Latinx community to create a unique art piece.

Concept & early inspiration

To create the artwork I was inspired by the opening of the TV show Diary of a Future President. The opening shows several pages of a notebook ( the protagonist's diary) with photographies and personal object that represents each character.

The easiest way to illustrate my personal journey is through few photos taken from my family album. I will represent four of the biggest moments of my life. Hoping it reaches the Cuban and Latinx community that has possibly lived the same experiences.
